PokerStars.com, the leading online poker site, will be sponsoring the upcoming European Poker Tour (EPT) London tournament. The event will commence on Wednesday 30th September and finish on Wednesday 7th October.

This is the sixth edition of this popular tournament which is due to take place at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino and the Hilton London Metropole both of which are located on the stylish Edgware Road.

The events will commence with a high roller tournament with a 20,000 pound + 500 pound buy-in. A No Limit Hold’em 6-max and Pot Limit Omaha freezeout tournament will also be available on the same day.

Two new games will commence on Thursday 1st October, namely a PLO Double Chance 6-max and a European 8 Game Championship. The day will also host the end of the previous day’s tournaments/

The main event, which will be played over a period of 5 days until a Champion is declared, will commence on Friday, 2nd October.

PokerStars.com is very keen to encourage more women to be involved in the game of poker and a ladies-only event will be held on Monday 5th October in an attempt to inspire them. Satellite qualification tournaments are currently being held on the site and buy-in to the ladies-only event with a night at a luxury hotel in London are included in the packages.
